...The Imax cinema, in the National Photography Museum was the first "Imax" cinema in the United Kingdom and was built in 1983. Since then, Imax's have popped up all over Britain but the one in Bradford is still the original and best. The films are about a fiver each and last about 45 minutes and are very educational (but a close up of the hosts very nice bosom made even better watchin), you feel like you're flying when you're flying and feel as it you are part of the action and you're actually there. In the one I saw about dinasours a Tyrannosaurus Rex snarled right in my face, and in the one about the grand canyon, I felt like I was flying over it. A great experience and well worth a measly five notes....

...Sydney's IMAX Theatre in Darling Harbour is home to the world's largest movie screen at a whopping 80 storeys high! The building itself is the shape of an eye, decorated in yellow and black aluminium checks, which was designed by and Australian architect by the name of Lionel Glendinning. ...I visited Odeon at the Printworks last week to see Harry Potter in 3D at the IMAX, and I was very impressed.
I think that all of the other reviews are talking about the old Odeon, on Oxford Street, However in the last few years it has closed down and the Filmworks in the Printworks has been taken over by Odeon. Its a massive cinema with 20 screens including the IMAX, which is just amazing.
The screens are set out over two floors, with popcorn and Ben and Jerrys ice cream served on each (The sundaes are amazing!) It has good facilities for the disabled including two lifts, low counters, hearing loops, as well as subtitled and audio descriptive showings. Everywhere was very clean and tidy, the staff were all very helpful and chatted to us whilst we were ordering our snacks.
I went to see Harry Potter in the IMAX (IMAX films don...
