I recently had to fly to Spain on short notice. I only needed to go for 3 or 4 days. After a bad experience with another airline I could only get Iberia flights to suit my timetable. I phoned the service centre and got myself booked and was very pleased with the price I was quoted.
As I was flying from Scotland I had to get a connection from Glasgow, which was with British Airways. Iberia took care of that as well. I duly paid by credit card. I was told my tickets would be posted out that night. Two days later the tickets had not arrived and I phoned the call centreto see what was happening as there was no post on a Sunday and that was when I was flying. I was told as it had been short notice I was just to collect them at British Airways desk.Just show my ref number.
I arrived on the Sunday at Glasgow to collect my tickets. The British Airways staff were very helpful but no tickets were here for me.They then had to phone Iberia and they were not to happy about it.They had taken my money but not confirmed anything with British Airways. The staff spent an hour trying to sort it out. By this time time was ticking on and I was going to miss my flight. When the booking finally was confirmed by them the British Airways staff could not believe that they then had book me going from different airports.
Eventually after an hour and a half British Airways took the matter into their own hands and booked me on the correct flights. I would have missed all my connections on the flights Iberia they had booked my on. Iberia never even apologised. Thumbs down to them and thumbs up to British Airways.
The flight itself was a great flight.Went out on time. Lovely new aeroplane and very friendly flight attendants. I could not fault them.Even the food was delicious. It was a pity the booking staff were not so.

A little brief - some more on the cabin service would be nice. IBE recently centralised its booking system in Madrid and they have had a few problems but they are ironing them out now :) Cheers > Dan
