Iberostar Bouganville Playa, Tenerife

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights from the 14th August to the 21st 2007 and found the hotel was excellent. On arriving at reception a glass of champagne was brought out for us to drink whilst we checked in. The reception staff were very friendly and provided information on the local facilities and trips on the island. I have read in other reviews that the room facilities are dated, yes they are. But if an odd chip in the bath enamel or some of the chrome rubbed off the taps is sufficient to give cause for complaint don't go to this hotel. The rooms were serviced and the towels changed every day. There was a wide choice of hot and cold food both at breakfast and evening which would satisfy all tastes and was always fresh. Roast meat was available every evening ,together with grilled meat
and fresh fish. The two pools and the evening entertainment made the hotel a great place to stay.
