Advantages: This hotel offers a very good diving school. Disadvantages: The food in this hotel was good, but they had a problem keeping the food warm.
The first thing I noticed about this hotel was after walking into the reception area. They had a large lounge area with comfortable chairs and the bar in easy walking distance. First impressions was that this was a very relaxing area.
The staff at this hotel are very friendly. After checking in the bell boy offered to take a member of are party on a golf cart, as they had a walking stick and difficulty walking. The rest of the party was also invited to jump on the golf cart with are baggage.
The hotel is surronded in very nice tropical gardens and it was nice to see all the wildlife. The hotel have a pond area where you can see lizards, parrots and flamingoes.
The beach was very nice but the water was not very easy to get into, as there seemed to be a lot of concrete in the water when first getting in. I don't if this was due ...

the buffet dishes to ensure tempaertures etc were OK. No matter what your food preferences you should be able to find something to suit your palette. I can't speak for the qulaity of service in the restaurants when at full capacity, but the service throughout the hotel was good while I was there.
There is a small range of shops within the hotel, but they are very pricey and just like visiting the medina you get pestered to buy- in the hotel this should not be necessary and they would probably make more profits if they did not harrass guests to buy
If your are there for the weather, then be aware that when stormy (as it was for a few days) then you could become very bored very quickly as not a lot of in house activities for those of us who don't wish to play pool, or table tennis. there are outside bar facilities and even on the beach.
