I had visited the Ibis Westcorner when on a business trip to Amsterdam this year. Overall, it was a good choice, certainly the best value for money available.
Location of the hotel is perfect for the business visitors, on the Transformatorweg of Amsterdam Sloterdijk, it is only a couple of minutes from the Station and, at the same time, close walk or taxi ride to many companies.
The service is good, not exceptional in anything in particular, offering the standard range of facilities, every hotel of such level offers, including in-room TV, room service, breakfast (with conveniently wide choice of times available for those who need to get up very early or want to stay in bed particularly late), etc. The shower-wc facilities were suprisingly stylish and modern.
There is a bar on the ground floor for the late arrivals and business meetings are catared for by a conference room.
The slight dissapointment were the computer facilities, of 2 computers with printers; the breakfast could have offered a wider range of options, althougth the ones available, (mainly sandwich-cereal direction) were good quality.
Advantages: Location, Comfort Disadvantages: Telephone charges, travel information, lack of some creature comforts, no breakfast included in room price
