2 Weekends ago we stayed in the Ibis in Wembley in London. When we arrived they had got us down as staying the next night instead of that night and so hadnt had a room reserved for us, despite the fact that they had faxed us confirmation the week before! The girl that was dealing with us spoke very little english and it took her nearly 30 munutes to check 7 of us into 4 rooms. There were only 2 non smoking rooms left so we took those and 2 smoking rooms, none of us smoke but we realise that this is not a pre-requisite to staying in a smoking room!!
Upon entering the room we were hit by the sickly smell of stale smoke. The windows only opened 2" for security and the air conditioning was stuck on hot!!!!
Upon first glance there appeared to be no bathroom but in actual fact there was, concealed in what appeared to be a tardis like wardrobe!!!
The bar was expensive and the staff were unable to direct us or recommend any local bars or restaurants. One of our party was my 9 year old cousin who asked if he could play scrabble or jenga which he'd spotted behind the reception counter only to be charged a £20 deposit!!
The cost was £40 per room per night, breakfast was extra at £4.99 and car parking was also an additonal £4.00.
I'm sorry as the other reviews for the ibis seem to have been good but i cant say i relish the thought of returning.
Advantages: Location: good for Wembley stadium. Disadvantages: Location: not enough lifts, far from central London i you are a tourist, not safest area
...the best option if the main purpose of your stay is visiting London.
Ibis have better located hotels in Central London.
The area itself is not the safest in the city. Overall a pretty average hotel, handy for Wembley stadium, not great for a leisure visitor. ...

Advantages: Close to both Wembley Stadium and Arena Disadvantages: Very poor parking facilities
Book this hotel as it was close to Wembley, I was dissapointed that they had no on-site parking and the parking available was charged at £10.
The room was basic but clean, The bed linen was clean, but not enough pillows, and I could not see me staying 2 nights in the bed. Very limited supply of tea/coffee making facilities and NO BISCUITS the toilet was smaller than most Hotels that I have stayed in, no bath just shower.
The Breakfast (included ...

RATES
At the Ibis, you pay per room and not per person, so of course it works out half the price if you're with a partner.
My company paid £79.95 for my one night stay, plus £4.95 for my breakfast. I consider this excellent value for such a pleasant, convenient and well-equipped hotel in London. (Other Ibishotels in London are at Greenwich, Docklands and Wembley).
Prices are cheaper at weekends, and if you use the Ibis chain often it's worth getting a membership card as you get 10% discount on everything.
Rates at Ibishotels elsewhere in the country are significantly cheaper than the ones in London, many at half the price.
OVERALL
The Ibis did not let me down. It was everything I've come to expect from this excellent chain and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the IbisLondon Euston to anyone ...
