I recently had a one night stay in the Ibis Euston on a trip to London with my mum. After having a good look around online for a hotel and coming to the conclusion that anything ‘nice’ was likely to be way out of my budget, I also realised that we were in London to see London, not to spend our time in the hotel, so surely it didn’t matter that much. Admittedly I do look at their cheaper chains first but I have managed to get myself some reasonable rates at some of their mid-priced hotels too. I'm a big fan of Ibis hotels and stay in them for both business and pleasure. I had, however, read a bad opinion of the London Euston branch, so when I found myself needing to stay in Euston the other night it was with slight trepidation that I booked the Ibis. This one was a minute walk from Euston station, which is so convenient. Also close enough for the famous Bond Street and Oxford Street for some fantastic shopping. In January I went to see Justin Timberlake in concert (again) this is my 3rd time. I and my Sister Lizzy (Hello love) didn’t want to travel home again after the exciting show so we decided to stay in a Hotel. We went looking for a Hotel and found the Ibis Hotel. It was fairly close to Piccadilly station which was very convenient for us. We went into the building and it all looked very nice. There was a bar and lots of tables and seating areas, and at the back of the entrance was the reception. We booked a room for 2 with no problems.
