In January I went to see Justin Timberlake in concert (again) this is my 3rd time. I and my Sister Lizzy (Hello love) didn’t want to travel home again after the exciting show so we decided to stay in a Hotel.
We went looking for a Hotel and found the Ibis Hotel. It was fairly close to Piccadilly station which was very convenient for us.
We went into the building and it all looked very nice. There was a bar and lots of tables and seating areas, and at the back of the entrance was the reception. We booked a room for 2 with no problems. The room cost £46.00 for the night which we found very good as we were splitting the cost. £46.00 is the standard rate for weekends. For week days it is still only £48.00.
We paid the money in cash, you can also pay by credit or debit card. They then gave me a form to fill in. I had to write my Name, date of birth e.t.c. Also how I travelled to the Hotel. This is just for research.
The staff at the Hotel was very friendly. They gave us our key for the room and sent us up in the lift. The key for the room was actually a swipe card (We thought that was funky ha! ha!)
When we stepped into the room we were happy with what we had. There was a TV, tea and coffee facilities (could do with more milk though ha! ha!) there was a large wardrobe with both shelving and hanging space. There was a large double bed and a very nice bathroom with a LOVELY shower. Oh, and two bedside tables. After the concert we came back to the hotel with both drinks and pizza. No one stopped us on the way in so we think you are allowed your own food and drink. We had a lovely nights sleep in the room and had plenty of time in the morning to get ready. You don’t need to leave your room until 12pm which I think is great as I love a long sleep.
When leaving the Hotel we simply gave the key back and that was it. Simple! There is also the option of leaving your luggage in the luggage room for FREE if you want to go for lunch or go shopping through the day. The Ibis also offers a continental breakfast from 6pm – 12pm at the reasonable price of £2.50.
Overall I had a great stay, a good sleep and a very nice time. Would recommend the Ibis Hotel for any low cost trips to stay in Manchester

Good review, thanks. Wouldn't have thought of using Ibis but might give it a go.
