If you're looking for a good value hotel close to all the facilities of Sheffield - then this is the one!
It's a 10 minute walk from the bus/rail station or a very short taxi ride that follows the city's one way road system. The main road from the motorway, the Parkway, is very close to the hotel but does not cause any noise pollution to the hotel rooms.
The rooms are clean and basic but attractively furnished with a lift to all 6 floors. The breakfast choice is limited and not expensive, there is a restaurant and snack bar available too. The hotel doesn't have it's own car park but there is a pay and display opposite the entrance to the hotel.
A short walk, uphill, you will find the stop for the tram which gives you a direct link to Meadowhall - a shoppers paradise! - as well as the Arena, Don Valley Stadium, Ice Sheffield and other city attractions.
A wide choice of restaurants are also in the vacinity of this hotel and the reception staff are only too willing to give you directions to them.
All in all this hotel is a good value, clean hotel with friendly staff.
