Advantages: Close to town Disadvantages: ?Rough area
...Hi
We have just stayed at the Accor group's Hotel Ibis at Bordesley Green in Birmingham.
Its a fairly bog standard Ibis hotel, but the staff were friendly and courteous.
Its set in what seemed to the outsider a fairly rough area of town – they have a large mechanical gate to lock all the cars in at night!
We noticed that t is remarkably close to the Birmingham City football ground, which might be useful for anyone wanting to stay close to that.
The rates are good at the moment – just 35 GBP for any room on Fri-Sun and 39.95 GBP otherwise....

Most recently, I have been staying at the Ibis Strasbourg Expo Congres in Schiltigheim, which is the subject of this review.
