Ibiza for everyone
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by Laurakate18

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Can be expensive

...think that over the years Ibiza had gained the name of a young peoples destination. This is completely untrue. The magnificant island of Ibiza has something for everyone. For the young people you have the clubs the bars the beaches and sun. This is mainly located around San Antonio but San antonio bay is a quieter destination even tho they are minuetes apart. For the familys it is a lovely holiday with its wonderfull beaches and the nice resteraunts ...
...you do decide to visit Ibiza i would advise you to rent a car if you can drive you that you can go to see things such as the mountains and the coast line, Another must have day out has to be Ibiza town. Its full of old charm and the beautifull fortress sits on top. If you are disabled this may be difficult as it is quite a walk up hill. Also if you stay late enough there is a parade (by manumission workers) that goes through the streets of the town ... Read review

Ibiza Uncovered.
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by shelleyone

Advantages: sun, sea, sand, relax or be lively. Reasonably priced holidays.
Disadvantages: none

...somewhere different. My sister sugested Ibiza so we thought we would try it. After trawling through brochures for which part to try we chose Es Cana. Ibiza is famous as a clubber's paradise but there are other islands for those who want a quieter holiday. You can find the hustle and bustle if you want to, and you don't have to look far. It could be just a 10 min walk away. You may choose the quiet life just sitting on your balcony watching the days ...
...and I have gone to Ibiza for my last 2 holidays. We all think it is fantastic. It is very picturesque with fantastic clear seas and lovely sandy beaches. When I asked if we would try somewhere different this year everyone said no lets go back to Es Cana. The weather has been great on both occassions but I suppose part of that could be luck. For our first holiday we stayed in Es Cana. We stayed at the hotel Atlantic which at the time was all inclusive ... Read review

Anything but what it is made out to be
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by sarahlou87

Advantages: Ibiza has everything you would want in a holiday
Disadvantages: As far as I'm concerned there aren't any

I have been going to Ibiza every year for the past 13 years. I think that pretty much explains it but anyway. I am 19 years old and I do not go to Ibiza for the clubs. Some of you must thi nk I'm a clubbing maniac with me only being 19 but seriously, I have never been to one over there. I have found so many other things to do besides lazing around the pool all day, which is not something I like to do. If you are looking to go on an active holiday ...
...want to stay somewhere quiet, Ibiza is deffinatly the place for you! However, it does cater for everyone. If this is your kind of thing, the east would be the best place for you where there are beautiful beaches, fantastic bars and restaurantes, impecable service with very friendly staff and some good shopping in Santa Eularlia. There is a place not so far from Santa Eularlia called Es Cana where there are some great bars for those of you who like ... Read review

My dream home!
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by maz319

Advantages: Chilled out, warm, great beaches, bars and clubs
Disadvantages: Nothing!!

I've been to Ibiza twice, and I can't wait to go again!! There's nothing about the place that I hate or even dislike a bit!! I've never met anyone there that wasn't there just to have a good time, I've never seen any trouble caused or any yobs. The days can be spent sunbathin, as it's generally really hot, the beaches are nice and spacious, you can sunbathe, play tennis, swim in the sea no-one takes any notice of what you're doing. The sea is lovely ...
...people who go out to ibiza are off their heads on drugs. I for one have been twice and not touched anything, because you really don't need to! The clubs out there are just out of this world, nothing can get you ready for what your going to see out there. The dj sets are huge, the music is a complete mix of stuff you'd have heard back home and new stuff that you'll here back home in a few months! The only thing about the big clubs like Privilage, ... The White Island
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by ChicaInglesa

Advantages: Beautiful, friendly, something for everyone.
Disadvantages: It closes for winter.

I was dubious about visiting Ibiza because I don't much care for the club scene, but a friend celebrated his birthday there, so I went along. I'm glad I did. We stayed in a quiet hotel in the friendly and unspoiled village of Port des Torrent in the north. Don't be put off by the clubbing reputation: there are parts of the island, including here, that have breathtaking scenery, especially inland. Of course, if you do like the club scene, there's ...
...hive of activity by night - there's a rock bar there which I enjoyed immensely. It made a change from all the disco and hip hop stuff. If you have a strong stomach, try a boat ride from San Antonio to wherever your hotel is. The water is deceiving - it looks flat calm, but when you get out there it's very turbulant. Great fun! In the less developed areas of the island, a few of the locals can't speak English, but they seem understand fairly well, ... Read review
