First time to Ibiza
Review of Fiesta Hotel s' Estanyol, Ibiza by
MrGee32
Advantages: Good Breakfast
Disadvantages: Noisy
I went to Ibiza with my partner back in September 2005 and this was both our first time. We dont have a lot of money so we went into Lets Go Travel and got our holiday which was about £240 each.
We arrived at the hotel at about 3 am (late flight from Bristol) and when we finally got to bed the noise in the hotel was loud. Th doors were slamming shut all the time and at 6 am the cleaners started their cleaning and shouting began, it was awful especially ... ...bought some ear plugs so this wasnt a problem after this.
We were welcomed to a large spread of a breakfast buffet (I know English Food abroad - but it filled me up for the morning)- this breakfast was every day - I havent had a fry up since lol)
The hotel seemed to be very old and basic but what else did we want in Ibiza. There was a lot of information available for us on display and also the rep was there very regularly - we booked a few excursions ...

Excellent service and food
Review of Invisa Hotel Club Cala Verde, Ibiza by
cindersmum
Advantages: Beautiful bay and views
Disadvantages: Very quiet situation
Returned from this hotel 13 September 2008. Set in very pretty bay, lots of the rooms have sea views, the restaurant and barbecue area (only used in peak season) also overlook the sea. This hotel is 3 star but the food quality, choice and appearance is 4 star. Freshly baked breads and pastries at each meal. We went all inclusive, which we enjoyed, although lots on half board. Lunch and evening meal had help yourself beer, wine soft drinks and water ... ...in Ibiza was a life guard at the pool from 10 am. - 6 pm. Good idea. Lots of activities arranged by animation team. The only downside was the hotel is set in the middle of nowhere really, so you cant wander after dinner as no street lights in middle of countryside! We thought a week was great but if you were going for a fortnight you would probably need a car or use the local bus/taxis a lot. Definitely a hotel I would recommend, but not to young ...

Review of Hotel Apartments Club Maritim, Ibiza by
stevesablue
Advantages: quiet location for the area
Disadvantages: Hostel not hotel
...of the staff in the hotel could speak much English (or didn't want too), which made communication extremely difficult.
However, before we could get to the room several of the corridors in the block we were being directed to ( and I believe some rooms) were flooded due to the fire alarm and sprinkler being set of and no-one in the hotel knowing how to stop the alarm. Some of the corridors had towels and mattresses placed across the bottoms of doors ... ...No attempt was made by hotel staff to evacuate the hotel, guests were simply told that the alarm would be stopped and that they should return to their rooms.
There were no lifts and everything that is listed is "extra" with the exception of TV, which we were only able to watch SKY News (not really a problem as we were on holiday).
I would not regard the Club Maritim as a hotel more of a hostel. Although it was generally clean and reasonably well ...

August 2008
Review of Fiesta Club Vista Bahia, Ibiza by
rizzo52
Advantages: location, entertainment, activities, pools
Disadvantages: not enough sun loungers, not enough staff, not suitable for families with prams
I went to this hotel in august 2008 with a family including teenagers for a week, feeling quite apprehensive after reading other reviews, but it turned out to be a great holiday!
The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning, right against the sea and with outstanding sunsets almost every night. There is no beach at the hotel but are some steps down to the rocks, there are several great family friendly beaches about a 10 minute walk away from ... ...dining area at set times with a snack bar opening at the pool bar during the day. Though the food was good there was not much variation. There are 3 pools that are great, but the battle for sunloungers each morning can be quite ridiculous with queues starting at 7:30am, however we found that some became free after lunch. Due to the setting of the hotel there are many steps and steep climbs from the pools to the apartments, but we looked at it like ...

OLE, HOLA!
Review of Fiesta Hotel Cala Nova, Ibiza by
reviewqueen84
Advantages: location, views, service
Disadvantages: can't think of one!
I have visited this hotel 4 times in total and it just gets better and better every time. For starters the big circular pool over looks the jade green sea and the smaller cala nova beach. The hotel has an outdoor snack bar and pool bar which serves food and drink and an entertainment stage for during the peak months. The entertainment is great and geared at all ages - the off peak months you will find the older generations at this hotel and peak ... ...half board basis but you can upgrade to an all inclusive wrist band for all of your drinks including alcohol at 7 euros each per day (min 7 days). Food is superb with a massive variety. If you go say hello to Paco and Gonzalez! Ideally located a 10 minute walk from Es Cana centre. ...
