When me and my girlfriend first booked this holiday we were rather aprehensive because of the bad image surrounding the Balaric dance capital. But, it was a cheap late deal and with rather limited choices it's all we could really have. THEN we find its also Club 18-30! But you should take our approach, dont judge something until you have tried it! Really it was a great holiday. The island have a fantastic atmosphere whilst also feeling very safe, far safter than walking around Huddersfield town centre at a similar time of the morning. Beware of high prices however, especially in the top clubs where drink can be up to £4 for a £1.80 bottle. Top up first in the surrounding cheaper pubs and, if possible, a 24hr supermarket! Treat it like any other place, be sensible, watch your money and just dont be stupid! During the day there is plenty to do, watch the heat however, dont be too excited over leaving rainy Britain behind, cover up between 11-1pm, if you are awake at that time after a wild night out! If you go on a Club 18-30, watch out for rip offs at the welcome meeting, you can always find another way to a place without having to pay for their transport, however if you negociate the prices can be reasonable and you will have a good time. All in all Ibiza has a bad image and although it may not be suited for the elder generation, the younger generation will have a ball. Just remember to stay in San Antonio because apart from there and Ibiza town, the rest of the island is deserted!

Old people can enjoy Ibiza as well - the secret is in knowing what you want. I would not have enjoyed an 18-30's holiday when I was well 18-30, simply because it was not to my taste, if you do and this suits, then fine. But despite not having the best holiday ever on this Island, it has an awful lot of beautiful scenery to offer and lots of secret hideways which resemble how I would expect the caribbean to be, so don't knock it until you've tried it. Providing you pick the right resort us oldies (well actually not that old) & kids can have a brilliant time there too.
