When I went on holiday here I stayed in San Miguel, this is a little bit away from Ibiza Town and San Antonio. This was my first holiday abroad and an excellent holiday, sucha beautiful place. The area I went to was a family area so it was good to be away from the night clubs because they're not really my thing, I may sound boring but some are just trashy nowadays.
When I flew here, I went with Air Europa who were not the best airline but then I didn't care about the air line I just wanted to get there. The flight was about 2 hours long and then I landed in the airport and was taken to my hotel. What a nice welsome, the sun was shining and the sky was a clear blue colour, I couldn't wait to get to the hotel.
As soon as I arrived at my hotel it was quite late and tea time had already been but still I was given my tea which was nice and then I went onto the private beach for a little while.
This kind of holiday is more of a relaxing one. You paid for umbrellas on the sun bed and then a fruit seller would come a long the beach every day. There are shops near the beach I was at so that I could get my lunch and they sold everything here. I went into the water a lot the seas were clear and there were many nice tropical fishswimming underneath. In the morning I could feed the fish bread and then they all surrounded me which got some great pictures and this was free. Many other things to do in the water are to snorkel you could buy the mask and flippers. There were also pedal boats and a banana boat which is when everyone sits o a boat in the shape of a banana and it sppeds through the sea trying to knock everybody off it.
On this holiday I went around July/August and it was sunny every day apart from the day I was leaving when there was a storm and it rained for about 3 hours, everywhere was flooded.
This holiday was not all beach there is also Ibiza Town which has many placs you can shop and buy souvenirs. It's quite nice out here but in afternoon hours it does get very hot and I went home about this time, there are buses that take you.
Another day I went to San Antonio, after seeing this on Ibiza Unocvered all of the time I felt I had been before. There was a market and many things to buy but I didn't really buy much because I didn't have much money although it is a nice place to go. This is really a day trip to look around everywhere.
The night life in my area was ok but mostly at the hotels around and it was quite good. If I couldn't be bothered to go to the beach I would sometimes go to the pool but I had to go early to get a sun bed.
This was such a fun, relaxing and enjoyable holiday and if anyone wants to go I recommend going to Puerto San Miguel.
