Igg´s, Edinburgh

I recently enjoyed my first meal at Igg's. It was recommended to me by some friends at work. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere when we entered. The low level lighting and candles together with warm decor both helped to create a welcoming and friendly impression. The menu includes some classic dishes with interesting additions. We enjoyed a veal terrine and shellfish consumme, both were very good. For the main course we had fillet of beef ...
...perfection and was beautifully tasty and tender. The selection of vegtables were possibly slightly over cooked for my taste but well presented. The wine that was recommended was a powerful Muga and was well chosen.

The meat was cooked to perfection and was beautifully tasty and tender. The selection of vegtables were possibly slightly over cooked for my taste but well presented. The wine that was recommended was a powerful Muga and was well chosen.
