Plaza Regency Hotel in Sliema in central position

Advantages: Easy access to public transport and sea front promenade
Disadvantages: cramped and slow lifts

The Plaza Regency hotel, Sliema is situated at 251 Tower Road, or as the local street signs put it Triq it-Torri. It is seperated from its sister hotel The Plaza, by a road Triq San Frangisk. The two hotel are connected together by a bridge six floors above the street. This sounds weird but works quite well. The two hotels share a dining room which is on the sixth floor of the Plaza, and share a swimming pool which is on the roof (seventh floor) of the Plaza Regency. Both hotels have several steps to climb to get from street level to Reception and in my opinion would be awkward for someone of limited mobility. Once inside, the reception area is spacious and has arm chairs and a TV. The staff here speak good English and are helpful. Both hotels have lifts which are in my opinion both slow and cramped. However the bedroom that my wife ...

The Pergola Hotel, Malta Review

Advantages: Cheap, good quality rooms, very close to the local amenities, wireless available
Disadvantages: None

We stayed at the pergola hotel in Mellieha for a week from the 17th august for a week, the views from the hotel are amazing, they have two swimming pools, one is indoor and heated, whereas the other is outdoor and not heated, however the weather in malta when we were out there was over 100 at some times, so no need for the heater. Near the outdoor pool there is a bar area which is themed to be located inside the opening to a cave, there is also a restaurant which serves excellent food, it is family friendly as they serve chips, burgers, pizzas and also catery for vegetarians offering salads and other meals. Just below the restaurant after taking the lift there is a games room with the popular snooker table, various shooting games, a racing game, pinball machine and some old retro style fighting machines. Something else to keep ...

The imperial Hotel Blackpool is the place for me

Advantages: Good hotel . Nice location
Disadvantages: Bit Expensive for there bar prices.

I am writing to recomend the Imperial Hotel Blackpool as a place to stay. I had a great time there on my birthday. In my opinion the staff there was very friendly and helpfull. The food was very good. The breakfast in my opinion was the best bit. As it was help yourself you could have as much as you want are as little as you need. If you are into keep fit the gym was good and the staff was there t help you if you needed any advice. The bedrooms was clean and well set out. I think that if you go there for a long weekend break you would find it a friendly hotel and and plenty of things to do. I have stopped at a number of hotels in Blackpool and i think that it`s one f the best places to stop. It must be good as the labour party stopped there for the conference. Who knows you could have slept in the same bed as Gordon Brown. The only bad ...
