Imperial Queen's Park Hotel, Bangkok

I stayed here in October\November 2006 as part of a two centre stay in Thailand. The hotel was wonderful and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We managed to dine in each of the restaurants within the hotel (there are 6 in total if you don't count the Parkview which is also used as the main breakfast area). This really is an excellent hotel. I stayed here about two years ago and it is definitely one of the top few hotels I have been to. My family and I ate in a couple of the restaurants and one of them was outstanding. The other, where you cook your own food was slightly confusing and we didn't really get to grips with it so it wouldn't be fair to criticise. ...selection and quality of the food was outstanding. The leisure facilities at the hotel were good too. I often used the rooftop pool and this wasn't busy and always had a pool attendant. There was also a gym, which my dad used, and several shops, including a tailor providing good-value suits - although this is normal in Thailand.
