Advantages: Reasonable price, Within close reach of other islands, duty free shops are great. Disadvantages: None
...We travelled to Cala Longa in Ibiza in September 2006 and stayed in the Club Playa hotel which is an all inclusive hotel on the beach front.
This is very handy if you want to keep nipping back for snacks or drinks seen as they are already paid for.
It takes between 45 mins and an hour and a half to transfer from the airport to the hotel depending on time of travel but we must have hit a bad day as it took us well over two hrs to get there that was the worst bit.
The hotel is approximately a 100m walk to the smooth sandy beach.
I thought the hotel to be fantastic.
The natives are polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. They readily greet you on entering the shops. In the bars we were asked if we wanted to sit down and they would come for our drinks order and fetch it for us but I chose to fetch it myself. The least I could...

PLAYA D’EN BOSSA
Playa D’en Bossa has fabulous beaches and is home to the largest stretch of beach in Ibiza. The beach is divided up into areas (not literally but by the bars on it) into English and German. On the English part of the beach you have the fabulous Bora Bora. This gets going at any time of the day. We saw people dancing on tables in the middle of the afternoon. The atmosphere is electric. Space is also located in Playa D’en Bossa and is unusual in that it is an afterclub club - it opens at 6.00am and closes at 6.00pm. Non-stop party action all round.
On the non-clubbing side, there are many bars, cafés and restaurants in the centre and most of the hotels are only a short walk from the beach. There is also...

...of my ops again. So, here's the real Clubbers Guide to Ibiza...
WARNING
Before you proceed you may want to know that this op is quite massive, as you may have noticed from the toolbar, and you will probably be quite, no, very bored in under 20 seconds, if you think this may be the case then please leave now, once you've rated it VH, obviously. Come on, it took me ages. Now concentrate.
The Ibizan nightlife is centred in four different locations on the island, San Antonio, Ibiza Town, Playa d'En Bossa and San Rafael. Each houses a different kind of nightlife and the clubs are spread between them. San Antonio is situated to the North of the island, Ibiza Town and Playa d'en Bossa to the South, and San Rafael slap bang in the middle.
SAN ANTONIO: There are 3 different areas to San Antonio, the sunset strip, the West End...

As promised, here is the Ibiza Hippie review, which is a continuation (kind of) of my Escada Sexy Graffiti op.
Every year Escada brings out a different perfume in an abstract heart-shaped bottle with a ribbed lid. And I have a bit of an obsession with more
