In's Inn, Ghent

Advantages: clean, tidy, good service and price
Disadvantages: need a taxi to get into town

...I have been on two different Christmas Shopping bus trips and both times have stayed at the Ghent Holiday Inn. The price of each trip was £99 inclusive of bus travel, ferry crossing and two nights accomodation at the Holiday Inn. LOCATION +++++++++ The Holiday Inn Ghent is around 60km from Brussels and is situated in central Belgium which makes it ideal to explore the country. It is near the intersection of the E17 and E40 motorways. It is 65km from Ostend airport in Holland and 62km from Antwerp airport . On the first trip that I went on we visited Valkenburg and Ostend in Holland, and Aachen in Germany and each day we made good time and were not rushed at all. Advantages: Great location for exploring Warwick or RLS

...feather pillows for something a little firmer should you so require. THE RESTAURANT/BAR As I mentioned previously I would’ve expected the hotel to be actively encouraging use of the bar and restaurant but I wasn’t asked once if I would be dining in or if I would like to make a reservation. The bar staff seemed more interested in wandering around an empty bar than actually serving and the one person who did try and serve was on their first day and had obviously had little or no training on the till / cappuccino machine / beer pumps (granted they aren’t hard to figure out – but they did have some odd handles) The prices were high even for Holiday Inn, and it simply didn’t feel like a bar I wanted to spend some time relaxing in. ...LOCATION Jurys Inn Nottingham is located between bridge over the river and a water channel on the London Road , southeast of the city centre, close to the railway station and within a two-minute walk of the tramway system. First Impression On arrival to the Jurys Inn in Nottingham city centre, me and my partner were greeted by a modern, quite impressive looking, 8-floors high building. Although the building looks a little unfinished, the reception area looked spotless and shiny marble flooring as well as dimmed lightning and colour scheme added to a very glamorous look. The receptionist welcomed us and checked us in in a fairly informal manner.
