Stay Away from the ignorants at the Indigo

AWFUL. Reservations were made months in advance for double beds and we (about 6 rooms) got kings. Bride-to -be had to sleep on the floor. Breakfasts were comped next AM but the breakfast bar worker had the personality of a lizard and was beyond rude. If you have to be somewhere on time, count on a 22 minute wait for the lift. At the Indigo, filthy linens in huge rolling bins are far more important passengers than their paying guests. Even though we made arrangements months in advance for an after-part at the Indigo bar, we ran late and called the Indigo and were assured all is well come on and have the party here, we arrived to a closed bar. Another after-party group was successful in getting the stubborn and rude barkeep to reopen. Any complaints to the management (Tony) or the bar keeps is perceved as abusive. The truth hurts the nasty staff at the Indigo. I wouldn't let my DOG stay there. Midtown is full of other nice hotels whose staff is well trained and professional in mannerism and competent. STAY AWAY! PS..I was prompted by fellow Ciao members to comment on facilities, etc. What is the point? Who wants to visit /lodge at a place filled with ill-mannered staff ? If one cares to subject self to such arrogance, the Indigo is a so-so place with homeless people sleeping all around the vicinity, it is on the cusp of midtown and downtown. Parking is $18 per night per vehicle and confusing to locate where to turn in to the parking area since the huge sign reads Georgian Terrace Parking Only and in small letters Indigo parking.

You do need to say more about the facilities, etc, in order to write a helpful review, but you've certainly made me want to stay away from there should I ever find myself in Atlanta!

you need to say more about the facilities and location - not just the bad service.
