Nice and comfortable but some frustrations

Advantages: Confortable rooms, nice beach, pleasant people
Disadvantages: Questionable maintenance, costly extras

Some time ago I had a big argument with Intercontinental; despite having stayed over 100 nights that year, they showed no interest in trying to resolve my complaint, so I promised myself that I would not stay in another Intercon again. Ambhara - a fair hotel
