This is the newest ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach - I say newest but, it has been there for over a year now!

The ride is very easy to spot as it is a bright blue colour - it is a suspended looping coaster and claims to be the only one of its kind in the UK as it is completely over water. They have made a great job of it as they have cleaned up the old area where the old log flume used to be and have filled it with water that has jet streams shooting out and also lots of fish in the decorative area near the entrance. It certainly looks modern and makes the queue area a bit nicer on the eye.
The entrance building is pretty tiny but, there is plenty of space to queue up outside to. Infact if you are not riding there is even space to stand and watch the ride from the top before going down to get in the queue. This is an ideal place to watch if you want to see family and friends riding.

The ride:
The coaster has 16 seats on each carriage which are laid out in two seats together. They have the usual over head locks for rides of this kind and each seat is in a sort of 'pod' shape. Upon looking at the ride from the ground it doesn't look that high but I think this could be due to the fact that the Big one's track is next to it! Once you move off the ride starts off by going up the biggest climb straightaway and you realise that it is pretty high. It is very deceiving as when watching it from the ground it doesn't look that fast at all but the first drop is pretty fast and definitely has a bit of whoosh!! From the drop it is straight into a loop and lots of twists and turns. The ride has a loop that is set next to a make shift waterfall so as you go around the loop you are looking at water as such even though you are going upwards which is a unique concept - however you only really see the full benefit of this bit if you are at the very front.
I rode this ride at the front and back and I have to say it's great in both places as at the front you get to experience the view as it goes around the track which is pretty awesome but at the back it seems faster and the first drop definitely causes a bit more tummy turning!

Overall opinion:
The Pleasure Beach have done well with this ride and it is a really good addition to the park even though it is a shame such a classic had to go to make way for it! I think it is good they have another fast rollercoaster in the park. I really do rate this ride and want to ride again and again!

Tickets

Ticket wise you can buy single tickets to have just the one go but this will cost you seven tickets and the tickets cost £1 per ticket so obviously you are looking at £7 but if you buy a wristband then you can ride unlimited as normal along with all your other rides at a cost of between £15 - 29 depending on what offers are running on the wristband that day.
