There are a number of ways of booking the holiday
1 - Through a Travel Agent
2 – Through the Internet
3 – Book directly with the head office in Dublin.

I have chosen the Internet booking on some of the occasions, this proved to be very easy and successful. Their site allows you to bourse the full broacher to select the holiday you want. From this site you can also find out information about the accommodation, when it is available and how much it costs. When you have finally selected you holiday you can then pay the deposit using you credit card, or pay the full amount if you are close to the departure date. The site is working on real time, so if you book your holiday you have an instant answer if it is available. This is something I like very much as you know immediately if you have been successful in your task. For this we saves about £40 per parson, when you are travelling in a party of 5 this is a good saving.

By far the best way to book you holiday with Inghams is to PRE-BOOK it. Let me explain, as already mentioned we have travelled with Inghams in the past so we know some of the resorts. Armed with this information we ask for a pre-booking from for the following year. This, as the advert suggest “does exactly as it says”. The benefit for me is that I have saves 70 euros per person, again a great savaging as there is 5 of us - a grand total of 350 euros saved.
When booking this way you have to pay a deposit of 60-euro s per person, (refundable deposit if you are not happy with the holiday at the time of final booking) this is great as it further distributes the cost of the holiday, as some has to be paid in advance, which makes the final bill not look or sound just as bad as it might be. i.e. for us as a family of 5 it means 300 euros paid this year for next years holiday, 350 euros off the total price, thus making the final total not that bad.
Booking a holiday with Inghams this way is a WIN, WIN situation. Let me explain – you book the holiday and pay the deposit, when you have final confirmation you have a choice, 1 – you proceed with the final booking and pay the full deposit, or 2 – you can pull out of the deal and your money will be returned – no questions asked.
At all times Inghams keep you informed as the availability of your holiday and when the brochure finally comes out in January you have the pick of the book, and you have 7 days to make up your mind about what to do.
