HOTEL
For our first stay in egypt we decided to stay at the Sunrise Royal Makadi resort at Makadi Bay in October 2009. This resort is situated about 40 minutes drive south of the main town of Hurghada and the airport. The Sunrise Royal Makadi comprises of many blocks of low level buildings spead across a large area divided by swimming pools and gardens. The resort is located right on it's own private beach which has it's own free sunbeds and parasols, also a free bar and a few shops, but not to many.
ROOMS
The room we ( 2 adults ) were allocated was in block 35 and consisted of firstly a room which had 2 single beds and a tv, then a row of fitted wardrobes and the bathroom with a large shower but no bath, then the main bedroom which had a queen sized bed, tv, table and chairs, then onto the balcony which looked over one ...
Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games
INTRODUCTION
Our Nintendo Wii has been hibernating under our TV, gathering dust since shortly after Christmas. The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. However, we were intrigued by the promise and novelty of the new Wii MotionPlus gadget, and when Wii Sports Resort (WSR) ? essentially Wii Sports 2 ? was announced, it was immediately added to our Wish List. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since.

Some time ago I had a big argument with Intercontinental; despite having stayed over 100 nights that year, they showed no interest in trying to resolve my complaint, so I promised myself that I would not stay in another Intercon again. At least, not if I was paying. So far I have kept that promise - even with this stay, which was paid for by Priority Club reward points.
