From Dubai With Love

Advantages: Dubai is a safe place with very good quality of life. There is universal brotherhood everywhere.
Disadvantages: None for me, but the hot weather for tourists who are not used to this.

of the expatriates and tourists. Visitors can do very good tax-free shopping in Dubai. The price can be bargained for all items like hi-fis, videos, cameras, watches, coffee pots, rugs, silverware, etc. Shopping centres are the main hubs of activities in Dubai. There are many big, medium and small shopping centres in town. The list is very long. Some of the shopping centres are as below: Al Ghurair Centre, Burjuman Centre, City Centre, Hamrain Centre, Wafi City, Lamcy Plaza, etc. You can buy virtually anything and everything under the sun for very reasonable prices. Fantastic Luxury Hotel in Dubai

Advantages: Everything - a real experience hotel
Disadvantages: Cost - A little too far from Town for easy shopping/eating out

for the day, and the driver took us into Dubai city to shop. This added about an hour to our journey but we had no complaints from anyone, just sympathy. It was quite cool shopping by chauffeured Rolls. As you approach the hotel you can't fail to spot the impressive towering hotel against the blue sky of Dubai. It's designed to look like the sail of an Arabian Dhow (a sailing ship) stretched against the breeze, the building is slightly higher than the Eiffel tower and one whole side of the building is a canvas like material enhancing the sail metaphor. You really need to see the building in photographs. I find it a beautiful sight. Entry to the hotel is via the hotel security gate. The hotel Rolls' being waived past without delay but the hotel gets a lot of visitors coming just to see the hotel - if you are a visitor you have to pay ...

Review of Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai

The best hotel/attraction in Dubai

Advantages: Exclusive, brilliant, luxurious, great service
Disadvantages: very expensive

The Burj Al Arab also known as The Tower of Arabs is one of the major attractions in Dubai. It is located on a man-made island on the Persian Gulf. It was once the tallest building in the world used exclusively as a hotel. It is now the third tallest hotel due to two taller buildings being built, which are used exclusively as hotels just like the Burj Al Arab. The second tallest hotel is located in North Korea and the hotel leading the way is also in Dubai and is called the Rose Tower. The Burj Al Arab is a staggering 321 metres (1,053 ft) and is one of the reasons why Dubai at the present time is on of the most popular holiday destinations. The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island, which is approximately 280 metres (919 ft) out from Jumeirah Beach. The island on which the Burj Al Arab is located is connected to the mainland ...
