Advantages: Good location, beautiful building and cosy rooms Disadvantages: Very expensive!
...I stayed here recently and felt that it was the perfect end to a great but exhausting trip around India. I booked into the Tower but was upgraded to the Tiger Club in the Palace which was a nice treat. The Palace is stunning and you should just look up the staircase, even if you can't afford to stay there. Sadly, Mumtaaz died on the 19th year of their wedding. The sky fell over the head of Shah Jahan, the King. But he had his own plans to keep Mumtaaz alive forever. A true devotee of Art and sculpture, he decided to buid a monument which wont be matched by anything in the universe and he was ready to pay any price for it. Her funeral was rested there in peace and when Shah Jahan died, he was buried aside here as per his last wish and there love became eternal.
