I travel a lot between the uk and ireland and am very familiar with both ferry companies that operate this route. I find the staff on Irish Ferries very accommodating and ever so polite.I often travel with my children and find the facilities on board the ferry very child friendly.The cinema is great comfort if you want to keep the kids busy while you have some quiet time.I think the bar is a great asset as the seating is so comfortable that you dont want to move and the bar also serve a great cup of coffee.The cleanliness of the ship is outstanding in my opinion with staff regularly cleaning the toilets during the sailing.The cost of travelling with Irish ferries is very reasonable in my opinion.I would recommend Irish Ferries to anyone planning to make the crossing.
