After an eight hour journey to Pakistan i was expecting to see the same old dirty under maintenance airport i last visited in 1997.But i was supervised to see that the airport is slowly but shortly improving then my last visit. When i visited in 1997 the airport was over crowded tacky with dirt all over the place. You couldn’t tell where people are coming from or where they are going.Facilites were in very poor condition. I must admit it ... ...i was not impressed at all. The dirt and over crowding of people really put me of future visits.
But now that the improvements that they are making to it is helping the airport. I revisited the airport last year and its improving. Islamabad international airport is not one of the great airport of the world. But it has a good capability to handle incoming and outgoing passangers. it has a larg waiting lounges, restaurants and other shops to purchases gifts and toys to gift your relatives and children. Islamabad airport is migrating from its present place to another place and when the new airport starts functioning it will be one of the best airports of the south asia. But write ...
