Islands of Adventure is the park next to Universal. It is located near International drive. Prices range on the different passes you might get This park is for everyone but smaller children may not like as many areas of the park because thier is lots of high rides tjhat are fast and go to high or up-side-down. This is a good park for people like me that love thrill rides. There is five differnet areas of the park (starting closet to the entrance) Marvel super hero island Toon Lagoon Jurassic Park The lost continent seusslanding Marvel super hero island has 3 rides in it. The first one is the Hulk this is a roller coaster that shoots you out of a tube and into a corkscrew! it brilliant (height restiction is 54 inches) as you shot out of it there is a big roar of the hulk. The amazing adventures of spider man: Is a 3-d ride that does move and parts of it you feel like your falling. there is some fire and water in this ride. Dr Dooms Fearfall: this hurls you up 150ft has hurls you back down (never done this because it looks scary but i'm going to do it ) Your feet are dangling. This is a bit like disneys tower of terror but on this you are out in the open!
Toon Lagoon Popeye and Blutos bilge rat barges: This is a water ride and prepare to get soaked great fun for people of all ages Popeye is trying to rescue Olive Oyl but Bluto is trying to stop him. remember to bring a towel! once it wasn't busy somy family and i rode it about 6 times! dudley Do-rights ripshaw falls: try and save Nell Fenwick from the villian Snidley whiplash. This is another waterride also can get you very wet. This ride is pictured above
Jurassic Park Jurassic Park river adventure this is another wet ride. Take a calm trip around and see some dino's then you go into the building and you hear them clever little dinos that make the funny noise. Then when you reach the top take a 85ft plunge to escape them. This gets you really wet as well. A towel sounds like a good thing to take there! Theres a discovery centre and also a play area for little kids and theres a ride they would like called Pteranodon Flyers thats a good way to dry off after the wet rides!
The lost continent Dueling dragons I LOVE this ride. There is two different tracks Fire and ice dragons. The story is that the two are fighting and us humans are stupid enough to ride them. TRhe walk up to the ride is good because it is themed like a castle. This goes up 125ft The eighth voyage of sinbad. This has all stunts in it. Its really good to watch and you can sometimes meet the characters after the show. Poseidons fury. Is a walk though show. Some of it might scare little children but this is also very good. the flying unicorn is a mini roller coaster for little children and big children this is very good i have riden this.
Seuss Landing cat in the Hat: The ride takes you though the book funny ride and it spins around a lot great for kids (the whole suess area is good for kids) Caro-suess-el: This is a carosel but with all the strange suess creatures one fish, two fish , red fish , blue fish: Wet ride but if you obey the fish it doesn't have to be. this is like dumbo and other rides that that but you have to do as a fish tells you otherwise you get sprayed! this is excellent my brother did it wrong so i would get wet! If I ran the zoo: Is a interactive play area for kids been in here this can cool off the little ones.
food there are plenty of restaurants in Islands but my personal favourite is Mythos they did lovely burgers, wraps, sandwiches and risottos and other stuff. this is a full service restaurant.
If you don't fancy anything in the park have your handstamped and go outside the park into city walk (this joins Universal studios and Isalnds of Adventure) there are great restuarants out there like Hard rock cafe and NBA and loads of others
