We spent our honeymoon here and it is simply the most magical place on earth!! We stayed in a romantic cottage made for two and just walked and gasped for the whole week! There are mountains, waterfalls, sheep (quite a few of these and they roam free so be careful!!), views, views, views and more views. There are midges too, so bring protection!! We spent time at Portree, the main town in Skye, which has everything you‘ll need.
The best part of all was when we visited a place named ‘The Fairy Glen’. It’s a part of the countryside (lots of little hills and ponds) and it has a unreal/fairylike quality about it. We’re proud to say that we consummated our marriage here!!!
