Stay In Style Advantages: Great location, bargain, friendly staff, sparklingly clean Disadvantages: doesn't do meals What The Hotel Says About Itself The Style Hotel is situated in the centre of Mogliano Veneto at about 100m from the railway station. The Hotel is the ideal destination for a tourist holiday as it permits thier own guests to reach Venice in only 10 minutes without using the car thanks to 50 daily trips of railway traffic. The hotel is also very useful for businessmen as it is placed just halfway from the industrial areas of Trviso and Venice-Mestre. ... ...that could suit our pockets. Hotel Style was on of the best that came up on our search. A 4 star hotel for 101 Euros for 2 nights, great! We booked it straight away through booking.com without actually looking if the hotel itself had a website (I shall come back to this point later). we booked using a debit card were told that the card wouldn't actually be charged until we booked in. Nice hotel in Lido venice Advantages: central, private Disadvantages: no A well situated hotel in lido Venice, 5 minutes from the Boat station and 15 minutes to St.Mark´s Venice. Very close to the Beach and the Palazzo del Cinema, where the Film festival take place. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant, breakfast quite good, specially in summer in the private Garden. Modernity in Modena Advantages: Good stopover. Clean and comfortable Disadvantages: None for me ...nation's architectural culture. The Holiday inn, Modena fits that particular bill precisely...it's nothing like lodging in ...etc.etc. Suits me sir. If I'm spending the day slogging around ancient ruins, medieval alleyways and tripping over baroque ornamentation, the last thing I want when I lay my weary head to rest is a rickety old metal bed frame, 'rustic' furniture, and hotels just chock-full of 'character'. No sirree bob. I want modernity, non-descript ... ...Where exactly is the Holiday Inn? Glad you asked. Only a fool would be struggling to find this hotel. It's just off the junction of the A1 and the ring road on the northern edge of the city, and as it's about 10 floors of grey concrete set amongst low rise buildings and greenery, it sticks out like an honest man at a bank convention. Local colour at a great price Advantages: very very cheap, decent and respectable, nice interesting town Disadvantages: a long way from the airport Hotel del Corso is a rather ordinary three star hotel in Selvino which is twenty five kilometers from Bergamo airport. This doesn't sound very far, but it is up a mountain so you get a nice drive up a scenic mountain path, but it is hardly speedy driving! We stayed there after arriving at Bergamo airport on a fly-drive holiday, and not being able easily to find an inexpensive hotel near the airport which would put two adults and two children aged ... ...the town. The hotel rooms are above a bar, which is on one side of Selvino which is quite a big town. So eating out was easy, and I spent a happy afternoon in the large town playpark with my children, and walking around the town which has a plethora of small shops, coffee bars and ice cream parlours as well as restaurants. The worst thing about the hotel was that the bathroom smelt - even though it was all very clean - the plumbing just smelt. Don Antonio Camping Residence Advantages: It's for every taste, who likes the beach and not Disadvantages: Some service such as restaurant and minimarket are in the neighbor camping It's a campsite suitable for families with children, but not only. It's direct on the sea so there are no roads to cross, which is ......no small thing, there is a beautiful swimming pool recently built and suitable for all ages with water slides and whirlpool. There are spaces for campers, caravans and tents as well as bungalows, studios and mobile homes for those who want to feel more comfortable. The pitches are grassy and shaded. The nice thing ... ...the price and in that of the bungalow, the studios and mobile homes is also included the beach-umbrella with beach chair and bed. For kids there's the mini club and every evening an unleashed baby dance. The entertainment also includes funny performances and periodically there are festivals that start in the morning and end in the evening!
