Me and my boyfriend booked this holiday last minute (July last year) and got it for an amazingly cheap £220 each. This holiday was perfect!!!!!!!

The resort itself is ideal for young couples, groups and families alike. For the young and lively there are plenty of bars, clubs, shows etc. But also for families there are quieter areas of the resort where you can get away from it all.

The resort consist mainly of one big strip, this includes shops, bars, restaurants and clubs. The beauty of this resort is that the whole strip faces the sea, so when you are having a nice romantic meal is just the perfect setting. You can watch the sun set go by in the endless choice of bars and restaurants.

The food is excellent with the main speciality being fish, which I tried the Paella and soon found out why it was such a popular dish. There are also many steak houses, Italians, Chinese etc. If you are looking for a somewhere special to eat, I would recommend going down to the Old Town, which is just around a 15 minutes walk or a 5 minute taxi ride if your like me. Here all restaurants are on a cliff directly on top of the picturesque harbour for fantastic food with fantastic views.

There is also a lot to do in the day, for instance a shopping centre with shops such as Mango, Body Shop etc. Also there are numerous day trips. We picked a trip to Furterventura which was a trip well worth going on, the day consists of the usual boat trip then a quick drop of in the town centre, tour round the islands many volcano's and sand dunes, and to finish off this was my favourite part to the beach for a nice meal and to laze on the most amazing beach ever for a good 3 hours.

Heading in to the night life, there are plenty of bars to choose from ranging from different styles of music to suite everybody's taste. I found the drinks to be extremely cheap as most bars are buy one get one free until around 1.00am with free shots and champagne in most bars. Heading towards the middle of the strip you will find the Commercial Centre which has around 25 bars / pubs so not making it to loud outside the main strip. Here we found an Irish Karoko Bar which was family run and extremely friendly.

Overall this holiday was brilliant for the price we paid we could not of dreamed of a better location for our holiday.
