The hostel was very secure. Each person got a key card for thier visit and the key card only allowed access to certain parts of the building. Which gave you an extra feeling of been able to leave your stuff around without fear of it going missing. The room also offered 2 lockers, but sadly one in our room was broken.

The hostel offered a very good breakfest to help us on our way for our travels ahead with a wide variety of cheeses, meats and Cornflkaes. The hostel also had free internet access, a well stocked bar which also did food. The hostel also had a table tennis table in the middle of it which proved most popular.
We foound Brussells itself quite dull as we arrived on a saturday afternoon to find most things closed. We struggled to find a pub that was serving some of its famous beer but eventually found one near the hostel and enjoyed a couple of cherry beers
Overall the hostel was a bright spot in a forgettable stay on our travels
Advantages: very friendly, cheap, close to town Disadvantages: often fully booked
It is very close to a metro, and the service is very friendly, although we had to book in advance because it is often fully booked. We chose the cheapest way, as in a dormitory, but our room mates were cool. The place has its own bar, the cheapest beer in town (Brussels is a expensive city). If you're cool enough with the staff, you might be able to carry on drinking after 1AM. The breakfeast is included, although I must admit we never got the chance ... ...served until 8.30 AM. the check out is at 10.30 AM, which is late for a youth hostel. Free Internet, although you have to be quick and put your name on the list as they have only 2 computers and is limited to 30 min per person. It was definately the best nights we had in Europe! ...
