Fabulous holiday!!

Advantages: Great for families
Disadvantages: Long haul travel and quite expensive

My family went on holiday to Jamaica and stayed here. 2 adults and 2 children. We had a fabulous time! The Hotel was great - our room was very spacious with 2 double beds, ensuite bathroom and tv. We had a balcony and the most gorgeous sea view on the 7th floor OUSTANDING!!!!! We were on an all inclusive stay so all the food was free. It was amazing. There were several different places to eat within the Hotel all but 2 were very relaxed bar/grill ...
...which during a 2 week all inclusive you get to eat in twice (once each). The food and service in these restaurants is excellent!!! There were 4 waiters to every table and no sooner had you taken a sip out of your drink - it was refilled. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. Holiday Inn Mobay

Advantages: Wonderful, friendy, fun hotel
Disadvantages: cold disco

Tired and bad tempered after our arrival at the airport after a much delayed flight to Jamaica seemed worth all the hassle when we were cheerfully greeted at this wonderful hotel. The reception and indeed the whole of the welcoming ground floor of the main hotel is open sided with a lovely breeze coming straight through. There are a few restaurants in which to eat, the main self service buffet hall which is replenished with fresh goods regularly ...
...bar on the beach and the fish restaurant. There was also a barbeque evening during our stay. There are events for the children and for adults and the hotel really puts an effort into entertainment day and night. This hotel has a pool bar, the main bar, piano bar and a disco. excellent hotel

Advantages: the staff
Disadvantages: nothing really

I stayed in the hotel with my boyfreind for 2 weeks in august and we had an amazing time, the staff cant do enough for you and they really do make your holiday. the hotel itself is pretty basic but we had lovely rooms all of the facilities were clean and there was plenty to do. the food was very good, i was slightly apprehensiv when we booked it as the food was buffet style but it was dlicious and we never ate the same thing twice, evry night of ...
...the barbeque on the beach was definatly one of the best nights. there are plenty of activities if you want to do them from kayak racing to cooking classes. We are going back agan next year and cant wait to see the staf again they really made our holiday special ...

best holiday ever

i went to runaway bay royal decameron club over the summer at the end of june with my mum and dad and had best time ever, i know that some people might complain about the cleanliness about the cottages, but as i think everything was just brilliant, could of been little bit more cleaner, but what do you want from 3 star resort and you are not gonna spend most of time in yuor cottage anyways. so once we got to resort all the people were so friendly ...
...in reception area we had drinks ready for us, what made it more perfect, then once you get checked in you get someone to help you with the luggage, but make sure you tip the guys so they remember you and help you next time =] i made so many friends in there and all the staff members were just brilliant, specially the bar man jerome, love him for bits, so girls keep away from him lol. and george, the oldest barman probably aint so great to be honest ...

Great place for Jamaican art, lovely waterfront and good food

Advantages: Quiet, relaxing and beautiful artwork
Disadvantages: It takes a little work to find the spot, knowing the right exit to Rio Bueno.

...by accident. I took the Rio Bueno exit at Braco off the main highway from Montego Bay to see this historic town and ended up popping into the place Gallery Joe James to see the art work. I was astounded of the beauty of the paintings done by the owner and artist Joe James and the breath taking view of the waterfront as we sat and conversed about the history of the area or cold red stripes. ...the views of the sea from my balcony. Joe and his wife Joyce along with their staff made me feel like family as they made every effort to make me feel at home.
