Great place for Jamaican art, lovely waterfront and good food

Advantages: Quiet, relaxing and beautiful artwork
Disadvantages: It takes a little work to find the spot, knowing the right exit to Rio Bueno.

...by accident. I took the Rio Bueno exit at Braco off the main highway from Montego Bay to see this historic town and ended up popping into the place Gallery Joe James to see the art work. More than a 3 Star!

Advantages: Excellent value for money and will keep the kids entertained
Disadvantages: Not for anyone wanting a quiet holiday

I stayed at this 3 star hotel with my boyfriend last summer. We booked on a late deal three weeks before and got 14 nights all inclusive for £620 each which we thought was a complete bargain! We weren't wrong! I'll start with the food, firstly there is the buffet restaurant which is free with table service for drinks and serves; * breakfast (complete with omelette chefs to cook them how you like it) which has traditional Jamaican, cold and hot food. ...
...which offers hot and cold options to suit all tastes and changes daily. * afternoon tea consisting of finger sandwiches, cake and drinks * dinner, again hot and cold options, a good selection of deserts, Jamaican specialities and theme nights such as Mexican, Chinese, Japanese etc. There is a beach grill which serves burgers, hot dogs etc all day and is a reservation only Jamaican restaurant by night, again this is free. excellent hotel

Advantages: the staff
Disadvantages: nothing really

I stayed in the hotel with my boyfreind for 2 weeks in august and we had an amazing time, the staff cant do enough for you and they really do make your holiday. the hotel itself is pretty basic but we had lovely rooms all of the facilities were clean and there was plenty to do. the food was very good, i was slightly apprehensiv when we booked it as the food was buffet style but it was dlicious and we never ate the same thing twice, evry night of ...
...the barbeque on the beach was definatly one of the best nights. there are plenty of activities if you want to do them from kayak racing to cooking classes. We are going back agan next year and cant wait to see the staf again they really made our holiday special ...

best holiday ever

Advantages: staff members, food, drinks
Disadvantages: rooms

i went to runaway bay royal decameron club over the summer at the end of june with my mum and dad and had best time ever, i know that some people might complain about the cleanliness about the cottages, but as i think everything was just brilliant, could of been little bit more cleaner, but what do you want from 3 star resort and you are not gonna spend most of time in yuor cottage anyways. so once we got to resort all the people were so friendly ...
...in reception area we had drinks ready for us, what made it more perfect, then once you get checked in you get someone to help you with the luggage, but make sure you tip the guys so they remember you and help you next time =] i made so many friends in there and all the staff members were just brilliant, specially the bar man jerome, love him for bits, so girls keep away from him lol. and george, the oldest barman probably aint so great to be honest ...

wedded bliss!

Advantages: relaxing accommodation
Disadvantages: nothing

Well after a ten hour flight we were glad to land. We where then directed to the couples lounge at Montego Bay airport. We were offered a drink and where able to relax in the comfy sofas whilst waiting for the other guests. We were then shown to the couples resort bus, which was smaller and looked more comfortable than the others. The ride took about an 1 ½ hours to the resort. ...were given a glass of bubbly and escorted to our room. Our room was nice, as although it was away from the sea, it was very peaceful and was close to the beauty rooms. The beauty room was in the middle of the blocks, with a small peaceful garden and pond area. We did request a beach room as it was a wedding/honeymoon however in hindsight we were glad we didn?t have a beach room as it always seemed busy, and a bit noisy. The room was a good size ...
