Sunset Jamaica Grande
Review of Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort, Ocho Rios by
lisa110780
Advantages: Great location, beach and staff. Use of pool & jacuzzis 24hrs
Disadvantages: Yellow painted buildings!
Visited March 07.This was our first time at an All inclusive resort, so we chose our accomodation for the number of pools/bars & restaurants available. This hotel had plenty of all 3. I am an avid "review" checker and through trip advisor saw a mixed bag to say the least. Our personal experince of this hotel was wonderful. Check in went smoothly, rooms were a good size. It is worth e mailing the hotel directly before you arrive to ask for a high ... ...the restaurants were enjoyable, the Chinese being one of the best I've had, contrary to what other people say, you do not have to het up at the crack of dawn to book a table, so long as you're not too fussy about time you can go along at 11am and still have choice. Beach was beautiful, and the pool likewise, and both kept very clean. We went outside the resort a couple of times and as 2 25 year old girls we did not feel intimidated at all. All staff ...

Sandals Royal Caribbean
Review of Sandals Royal Caribbean, Montego Bay by
choochoochick
Advantages: Everything!!
Disadvantages: Long flight (but worth it)
...airport and directed to the Sandals private lounge to await our transfer to the hotel. The lounge was very nicely furnished with an array of free, self-service drinks - alcoholic and soft, and very polite, friendly, smiling staff.
After short wait we were taken to our air conditioned minibus by the Redcaps (airport porters who take care of all your luggage). A brief 15 minute journey later we arrived at The Royal, and were taken aback at how luxurious ... ...the restaurants at the Mobay Sandals nearby, there is a free bus that shuttles day and night and only takes 10 mins. We ate to excess, and tried every restaurant whilst there. We had wonderful steaks, fresh seafood, japanese, thai, italian etc but as we had paid 3,800 we think we deserved to pig out a little!
There is also a beach grill which is open 24 hrs and serves jerk chicken, burgers, jamaican patties, pizza, fries and the like. There were ...

You Must Try It!
Review of Beaches Boscobel Resort & Golf Club, Ocho Rios by
ktk3438
Advantages: All-Inclusive, Food, Drinks, Ammenities
Disadvantages: Bus Ride From Airpot.
AWESOME! This was my first trip to Jamaica, and all I can say is that is was great.
The staff was awesome, and are all VERY nice and will help you with ANYTHING you need.
The All-Inclusive part of the stay was also a first for me, and I have nothing bad to say about it. The food was great no matter where we ate, and the premium drinks were well done.
If you are going to Jamaica and have kids, this is the place to go, with 3 pools, slides, Xbox ... ...wrong.
The people who work there are not only very helpful, but are very efficient as well.
MUST go at least once!
OK now some info:
The rooms were spacious, and clean. 2 double beds that were pretty comfortable and we slept well. The couch had a pull out bed so one of us could sleep on it. We als had a mini fridge that was stocked every day, and all items in it were included, no extra fees. We had a patio right off our room, and we were supplied ...

Fabulous holiday!!
Review of Wyndham Rose Hall Resort & Country Club, Montego Bay by
dolphinwatcher
Advantages: Great for families
Disadvantages: Long haul travel and quite expensive
My family went on holiday to Jamaica and stayed here. 2 adults and 2 children. We had a fabulous time! The Hotel was great - our room was very spacious with 2 double beds, ensuite bathroom and tv. We had a balcony and the most gorgeous sea view on the 7th floor OUSTANDING!!!!! We were on an all inclusive stay so all the food was free. It was amazing. There were several different places to eat within the Hotel all but 2 were very relaxed bar/grill ... ...which during a 2 week all inclusive you get to eat in twice (once each). The food and service in these restaurants is excellent!!! There were 4 waiters to every table and no sooner had you taken a sip out of your drink - it was refilled.
The staff were wonderful and very friendly. They went out of their way to help you and make sure you had all you needed. Every evening there were activites and entertainment in the Hotel. Everything from Manager's ...
