We spent 10 days here! as we are the only reveiw of 2008, i only thought it was right to update! we stayed at Hotel Jason on August 22nd to sept 2nd 2008, on first arrival! as it was raining in England, the heat when we got out of the plane was enough to knock you over at 5.30pm, after the short transfer from the Airport to Jason, on booking in, we got our room keys! 2 adults, 3 children age13,7, 7, they expected us to sleep in two differnt rooms, i complained and they did move us all together the next day!! a fully air con room, but you have to pay extra for the air con to work, all got bitten by mos's first few night as it was hot!! 30+ day 20 odd at night. the pool was good! as we met another couple with 3 kids simular age's so they sort of entertained themselves, 20m long 8 m wide good depth and clean, plenty of sun loungers, pool bar very good, did a few meals! basic but filled a gap, the breakfast typical continental!! ham,peaches, bread and cereal, all ok, plenty of coffee and tea, and a lot of wasps!! we had a good veiw across the sea to corfu town, the worst bit was the HILL!!! very steep down the first 100 yards!! then a pleasent walk 5 mins to ipsos main road where there is a plentyful supply of places to eat, not the hustle and bustle of most towns but good enough!! now back to the room! basic! bathroom no bath! shower that wet everywhere! toilet that had an odur, had to keep flushing it!! telly, i think we all take thing for granted, Hotel Jason did the job, but there is a big hill up to it!! very private, 95% clean, very freindly staff, not many English guests, a large amount of Eastern europeans, but ok!! wouldn't go back as we don't do things twice! to much to see in other places, would recomend!! but don't let your misses get drunk!! as i had to carry mine all the way up the bloody hill!! it nearly killed me!! lift to all floors worked a treat, pool toilets clean! good value for money!
