Advantages: Another side of the story... Disadvantages: ...but the truth remains uncertain
Do you remember the death of Johannes Otten? Do you recall how he was found impaled on the railings, his underpants around his ankles, his trousers and wallet missing, his passport found a little distance away in the street?
No, I thought not.
Unless you are related, there's no reason why you would. It was a long time ago. 1979.
If you're of the right age, however, you might remember the other death in that Jeddah street that night. Helen Smith, a British nurse. She was found lying on the ground not far from Johannes, both having apparently fallen from the balcony of a second floor flat. You may remember the theories of rape, murder, cover-up and conspiracy. Or the talk of drunken orgies, wife-swapping, the involvement of a high-ranking British diplomat. Or Helen's father's prolonged campaign to prove that his daughter ...
Advantages: sugarfree, lasting flavours, great taste Disadvantages: packaging could be smaller...but thats being picky.
I love chewing gum, I chew it quite alot, mostly if i'm going out or if i'm at work (although i'm not supposed to, oh well). I just love the feel of it in my mouth and the flavours.
I was browing round my local supermarket a while ago when i came across the Trident Soft Tropical Twist, i'd had Trident gum before so knew it was a good product, but i'd never seen the Tropical Twist verison. I love everything tropical, whether it's juice or yoghurt, so i decided to give it a go. Turns out I liked it and have been having it ever since.
Trident is actually made by Cadburys Trebour Basset, which has been round for ages now, so they pretty much know what they're doing when it comes to sweet treats.
*PACKAGING*
The gum comes in a pack of 14 strips. The packaging is a thin cardboard which you open up, revealing 2 'shelves' of 7 strips ...
Advantages: Unuasual flavour Disadvantages: Not really a splash
The packaging:
This chewing gum comes in a brightly colour sleeve which definatly appealed to the child in me! Inside the sleave is a packet much like what tablets come in, the gum can then be popped out when you want one. This is great as it keeps the gum fresh if you dont eat it all right away.
The Center:
Hmmm it wasnt really a splash more of an oooze, it was pretty nice though. I cant describe the feeling but its quite weird. You have to try it to get what I mean!
The flavour:
Who would have thought it, strawberry and lime mixing to form a yummy flavour. It sounds disgusting but it actually tastes quite nice in a weird sort of way! The flavour is pretty long lasting which makes a change - I get quite annoyed when the flavour is gone after 10 minutes!
According to trident: "the strawberry flavour does a great job at taming ...
