minutes’ walk from the town centre, Llandudno's North Shore and many of the area’s attractions. Llandudno’s beautiful seafront promenade and the historic Victorian town centre are just a short walk away, and the hotel’s excellent location makes it a great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Wales. After a hectic day enjoying all that the region has to offer, you’ll probably want to relax and unwind, and there is a comfortable lounge with a TV and DVD player for guests’ use. Most of the hotel’s rooms are en suite and every room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Well known for its warm and friendly atmosphere and excellent full English breakfasts, the Jenivore Hotel is a comfortable home-from-home where every guest is a friend..

Advantages: Position. Carol & Pete's Hospitality. The Bacon. Disadvantages: The Sea Wall. Invisible Windmill........read on.......
afternoon, we have driven up from Brighton, stopping at an old favourite (no longer - it had changed hands) pub for a late lunch just outside of Blackburn, on the way. Before going to sleep, an early night prior to starting my business rounds in the morning, I penned (yes, with a genuine fountain pen!) the following impressions.
"There's a man lives over the fish and chip shop thinks he's Elvis"???.
??..well maybe not quite, but over a Blackpool fish and chip shop you will find the "Texas Steak House", and over the Texas Steak House you'll find The Windmill Hotel.
Hotel, B&B, Guest House or Ciao members' home?
Well, in truth maybe it is just a little of all four, most importantly really, having now had the privilege of staying there, the latter I think. This place is Carol and Pete's home, in a very real sense an extension of their ...

Advantages: Lovely picturesque characteristic accommodation with fantastic potential. Disadvantages: Felt unwelome, food was past its use by date, not as clean as you would expect.
of dust which had not appeared to be cleaned for while.
In the morning I was hoping to stay a short time longer to have a look around the 7 acre gardens, which seemed to be a big adversing point on all website and was one of the reasons why I choose it in the first place. However, even though I was emailed that check out would be by 11am, the host came in at around 10am and asked if we had had a good sleep. I was hoping for an invite to view the gardens but instead I loaded up the car and could see one of their private guests putting on the garden. After we loaded up, the only ones to see us away were the host's dogs. They were very welcoming and I felt they showed us more hospitality than the owners of Leylands Farm B&B. I am not sure if we would have been made to feel more welcome if we had hired a Jaguar rather than an old banger. Maybe it ...
Advantages: Convenient, friendly owners, good breakfast. Disadvantages: A bit pricey
and you write your choice onto this. There is a choice of full English, scrambled egg with smoked salmon, or fruit and yoghurt.
Breakfast is served downstairs in the breakfast room. As well as your choice from the list, there is also a selection of cereals, juice, tea, coffee and toast. Peter and Bernice are in the breakfast room to help you to anything you need and also to just have a chat and answer any questions you might have about Salcombe. They were really lovely people and very accommodating. The food was all very tasty (although as I was on holiday I didn't sample the fruit and yoghurt!!).
FACILITES:
Although the B+B itself has no facilities (there is a garden and from what I remember you have to ask to use it) it has an agreement with the Marine Hotel just down the road. This means that you can use the pool and gym ...
