Advantages: Very exciting, rich and entertaining city Disadvantages: Can get expensive
...generally thinks itself better than its smaller neighbour. From my own experience of the two cities, Dallas stands head and shoulders above Fort Worth in terms of glamour and sophistication. You just have to compare the two skylines to see the difference.
DALLASDallas has a population of 1.1 million and has a rich history, as well as more recent fame. Famous for it’s Cowboys football team, simply gorgeous cheer leaders (best looking in the US), and the long running TV show ‘Dallas’. Dallas is also very famous for its banking, restaurants and shopping. There are more restaurants in Dallas than any other city in the US.
The city was founded in 1839. You can visit the first ever building to be built, which is a small shed like hut in the middle of downtown! The city began growing bigger when it became the junction...

Advantages: Great "Rivercenter Mall", Alamo, lots of other attractions Disadvantages: None!
...I visited San Antonio in November 1997 when I stayed with my Uncle in Fort Worth, near Dallas. It was very enjoyable, we visited the Alamo, which is the site of a famous battle, which was very interesting. We also visited an amazing shopping mall with a river running right through the middle of it! You could go for a ride on a narrowboat through an area which many Americans dubbed "Little Venice", as it has lots of nivce restaurants and was lit up to stunning effect at night. This shopping centre had lots of great shops and an IMAX cinema, which we visited, and it was great!...

*Reunion Tower. This is in the heart of downtown Dallas, and is one of the strangest darned buildings I've ever seen. It is constructed of pillars, with a large dome on the top - sort of like an old-school microphone would look. The enormous ball on top is a restaurant, where patrons can eat fine cuisine (actually, it's overpriced garbage, but you can still go up to look at the view). The ball is made of clear glass, so you can look out while you're eating. It is also covered with lights that flash randomly - WHILE THE TOWER ROTATES. Some tourists throw up because of the lights and slow...
