Jet 2 is one of the newer range of budget airlines available in the UK. Before I say anything else, the bestest thing about this airline is that it flys from Leeds/Bradford. No longer do i need to trapes across the penines to Manchester or down to London for just a short break.
First lets get all the bad things out of the way. With me usually travelling to thet states (to visit my family), whatever class i travel in, i always receive inflight entertainment and free food (and drinks flowing) so was initially quite shocked when i didnt get either of these.
Right, that was my only complaint, as because i thought about how much i actually paid for my ticket, and it was approx. £84 return to Alicante (and thats an expensive one) so i was thinking, wait..... i get to fly from an airport 6 miles from my house, on a 2 and bit hour flight, for this amount, so really i cant complain about the lack of food etc. There was food available, but at a price.
Everyone from the checkin staff, to cabin crew to the captain (we didnt see him, esp after 9/11 but he sounded nice) were all really friendly and heplful throughout the course of the travel. The flight boarded on time (and it wasnt the usual fight for seats, as they were allocated at check in). The seat room wasnt overly exciting, but i'm not that tall, so managed quite well. the flight was only delayed by 10 minutes, and that was due to an Iberian plane getting there before it should have done.
I really wouldnt want to fly Jet2, to the states say, but think they're mavellous for short haul flight esp to europe. I will definitely be booking another trip with Jet 2 in the near future.

Advantages: Cheap flights! Isn't that why we fly with them after all? Disadvantages: All the extra charges, however even after paying for hold luggage it's still cheap.

Advantages: Can get you anywhere in the world, train station attached Disadvantages: Long queues, rude staff causing delays, long wait for bags, not much shopping
