One of the major reasons why I chose this airline was because it fly’s from my local and nearest airport. However do not be fooled into thinking that they are not worth flying with! By comparison alone they beat other budget airlines following my experience. If only by the fact that their uniforms are superior to those which look like dustbin men (no offence) and give you a headache! The staff were polite and attentive and it seemed they followed the no non sense rule of letting you get on with your flight, without constant interruption. The flights were perfect daytime flights, which meant that you could wake up at a decent hour and land in time for tea. One of the only draw backs, which is common amongst budget airlines is being without a baggage label. This appears to be too much of a cost for them to print, and although my luggage was thankfully not lost I would have felt at ease with one. So a budget flyers tip would be to invest in a decent label holder or get some from your local travel agents before you fly. In terms of reliability even though it was only a scheduled daily flight the times were right on time. Even though there was a delay coming back at the airport, the pilot made up the time and we were able to land at the scheduled time. The only draw back with the flight costs is the taxes which bump up the price, but this is common with cheap flights/deals. So in theory my flights only cost me £16 but with the taxes etc. the cost more than doubled. However I was one of the early worms and would suggest if you’re thinking of flying budget to plan ahead an book early. Also if you’re going to a large city there are plenty of hotels deals to be found, rather than the company the airline advertised. So shop around for deals I found some places did 3 nights for the price of 2 which allowed me to get cheaper flights by staying for longer. All in all I would defiantly recommend Jet2, and will defiantly be jetting off with them sometime in the near future.

Good op but it would help us if we knew where your local airport was or if you told us where Jet fly from/to. They definietly sound worth investigating further ! Lexy

Advantages: Cheap flights! Isn't that why we fly with them after all? Disadvantages: All the extra charges, however even after paying for hold luggage it's still cheap.

Advantages: Can get you anywhere in the world, train station attached Disadvantages: Long queues, rude staff causing delays, long wait for bags, not much shopping
