I noticed Jet2 were now flying from Manchester to Amsterdam so I thought I would give it a go and see some old friends. The online booking service was simple to use and the price was very reasonable. Also the advantage of using terminal 1 at Manchester meant no long trek from the station to check-in. Getting to terminal 1 check-in was no problem, finding the Jet2 desk was, I needed a check-in desk in the 100's but they only seemed to go up to about 60. I then saw a small signon a pillar as you exit the check-in area that the Jet2 check-in was downstairs, yes stairs so anyone with a heavy case better beware. Illogically there is an escalator out of there. There may have been an elevator but I didn't see it. Check-in went smoothly and they allocate seats so that was OK. Boarding was on-time, we were off the stand before time and then away. Arrived in Amsterdam 20 minutes early. I noticed with the seating allocation people were either crowded into the rear or front of the cabin but the staff let people move seats if they wanted. Flight back was also on-time. No complaints at all and am using them again in two weeks time.

Ive heard of this airline. Glad they are good. Shame I live close to gatwick, as I can't use all the routes, but they fly to Manchester from here. Good first review, try to include everything possible, to give the best idea of the product/service. Joel

Never heard of them myself but don't sound half bad - it would be useful to split your review up a little so people can follow it easier and maybe include a little more info on the rough prices of flights, what was the flight like itself (customer service, cleanliness, food offered, etc). Advantages: Can get you anywhere in the world, train station attached Disadvantages: Long queues, rude staff causing delays, long wait for bags, not much shopping
