Planes are old but Jet2 never had a crash. many incidents hapenned but I trust their pilots are qualified. So sit back and *try* to relax.
My flights this weekend were delayed an hour both ways (thanks I guess) but they are not so bad with timings, have a good staff (not refined but helpful), nearly decent food on board (the tuna sandwich is eatable), and the onboard shopping is quite good for deals.
Prices are okay so I'd say they are quite good value. Think £100 for a single to Paris including all.
They are in between low cost (Easy Jet) and a normal airline.
I keep using them as they fly Leeds straight to Paris CDG.
i am also using them and RyanAir during a return trip to milan soon - will keep posting!

Advantages: Cheap flights! Isn't that why we fly with them after all? Disadvantages: All the extra charges, however even after paying for hold luggage it's still cheap.

Advantages: Can get you anywhere in the world, train station attached Disadvantages: Long queues, rude staff causing delays, long wait for bags, not much shopping
