After flying Ryanair many times we decided to use Jet2 to go to Sharm El Shiek. (After losing all our money booking through ) We were really happy with Ryanair but they didnt fly where we wanted to go. Booking online was very easy and straightforward to do.
We flew from Manchester and couldnt believe the queue when we arrived. They have just one generic queue for all Jet2 flights which caused us problems being the middle of the xmas holidays. We queued for around 45mins which was a pain in the neck. It is a real shame Jet2 dont do online check in like Ryanair.
When we got on board we were pleasently suprised with the plane, it was nice with newish decor. We were offered TVs which were well worth the £4 price - lots of different programmes/films to watch. The food wasnt particularly good for the money - very overpriced at around £4 for a sandwich.
Overall i thought the flight was fine. Expensive but we expect that at xmas time, prehaps it would be a lot better value later in the year. The queues are attrocious and need sorting. I would recommend this airline but not during peak holiday time.

Advantages: Cheap flights! Isn't that why we fly with them after all? Disadvantages: All the extra charges, however even after paying for hold luggage it's still cheap.

Advantages: Can get you anywhere in the world, train station attached Disadvantages: Long queues, rude staff causing delays, long wait for bags, not much shopping
