I have travelled through Jet airways on their international as well as domestic fleets. Jet is one of best Indian airlines for domestic travel, there is no doubt about it. They have recently take over Air Sahara (sahara group airline) and rename it as jetlite. So for budget airline jetlite is good option which cover many destinations within India. For international flights it is now cheaper than Air India. So always preferable over Air India. Staff is helpful and well mannered. If you are a frequent flier (I am blue member while my husband is silver card member) then it is whole new experience of welcoming, air port lounge service and seat selection. We were allowed for higher baggage which was most convinient way for us to take our luggage. So after frequet flier club joining they have some extra advantages. Food quality is average and I should say it is better in domestic flights than international. Lag room is not that big but one can adjust in that. Main disadvantage in international fleet is very less direct flights. One has to change flight either from Mumbai or Delhi. But overall it is good to fly with.
Advantages: comfortable, fast and friendly Disadvantages: none
i travelled on jet airways afew weeks ago and was very impressed. i flew from heathrow london to amritsar india. i had my doubts at the start of our journey as we took off a hour late, i was preparing myself for a very long flight but i was pleasantly surprised. We arrived in india within 7 and a half hours, this was pretty good going. The inflight experience was very pleasant, the staff were friendly and helpful. As far as i know all jet airways ... ...seat in front of you. Theres a wide selection of movies to choose from, they really helped make a long journey seem not so long. We were given two main meals during the flight, one eveing meal and breakfast, on our return journey we again got two meals and snacks. The food served is indian food and was actually quite nice (shocking for airline food). You can have soft drinks etc whenever you want and they even gave us ice cream.
It is widely accepted ...

Advantages: Great Airline Disadvantages: Should fly more internationally
I always fly with Jet Airways when I'm working in India. Sure the fares a a bit expensive.. but the crew, the aircraft.. the entire experience is truly great.
The staff and crew are very polite, attentive and take very good care of all their passengers.
The meals provided on board are very good.. provided by the top 5 star hotels, and leading hotels of the world.
I have always traveled business class (Club Premiere) but have travelled economy ... ...airline covers the whole of India, and has a very impressive fleet consistinf of Boeings and ATR (total aircrafts 50). With the average age of the aircraft being not more that around 5 - 7 years.
My best flight was with one of the crew on board - Tanya Maria (very cute half french girl!!).The most beautiful and sexy cabin crew in the world. I had the chance to fly with her on my birthday, and she absolutely made my day !!. ;)
I would definately ...

Jet airways is one of my favourite airlines.
Probably one of the best.
Yes the airline ticket is quite expensive but when we think about the crew, the flight, the experience is really great.
The Crew is very polite, attentive, takes good care of passengers and are really friendly.
The meals i had was really excellent, They provided the best meal. I felt like having my food from some hotel.
I think the airline covers almost whole of the India.

Advantages: Service Disadvantages: Washrooms need frequent attendance
Jet Airways Flight 9W 0123
My mother who is 88 and I travelled economy on the above flight on 1st October 2008.
Due to my mother's age, heart & blood pressure condition including having had both knee replacements 3 yrs ago & a hip replacement in January 2008- I was extremely worried about travelling.
I need not have worried -Jet Airways ground and flight attendants were exceptional in their care & throughout the journey to each & every passenger ... ...appreciation to all. Well done Jet Air.- I have not stopped telling people the care and respect with which the flight attendants spoke to the passengers - some who did not speak English were addressed in the sweetest Punjabi. I was really impressed.
Our return journey 18 days later; with Virgin Premium (Jet does not have this class) was a disaster. Due to my huge concerns for my mother I regret paying the extra for leg room and her 'comfort'!!-Prior ...

Advantages: the flights are always on time. great food too. Disadvantages: bit heavy on the pocket sometimes.
I have to say jet airways is far most the best airline i have ever flew in to places in india. It always turns out to be more expensive than Air India but there is a reason for that and the reason is that it provides better service than air india and any other indian airliner. I have never had any problems with jet airways but when i choose to fly with air india, the problems keep increasing everytime. Last time i went with Air India, the flight ... ...and rude too. But with Jet Airways, this is not the case because their customer service is great, food you get in jet airways is of five star hotel standard, the air hostess treat you so well. They even remember which drink I ordered few minutes ago without me having to tell them. Jet Airways is always on time whenever I travel to India. And the good thing about Jet Airways is that they are opening more destinations to go to with jet airways which ...

Advantages: An All Around Good Experience Disadvantages: They Don't Fly To All The Places I Want To Visit
...I'd been aware of JetBlue for quite a while and had heard mainly good things about them so when we decided to add a side-trip from Utah to Los Angeles it seemed like a chance to give them a try..... especially as their fares were so much lower than the legacy airlines.
We checked in on-line for our first flight from Salt Lake City to Long Beach and simply had to drop our bags off at the desk. Simple-or would have been had the desk been manned but there was no-one in sight-just a note saying "back at 3pm" a mere 45 mins before takeoff. The staff were pleasant-even if they made us repack as we were over the weight limit. As we had booked before the new charges for luggage came in we weren't charged despite having luggage for a three week trip.
Down to the gate and our next surprise-a smoking room. Most airports no longer have these...

Advantages: legroom space, price, service Disadvantages: choices of food and beverages offered
...Malaysian Airlines is Malaysia's leading airlines and their well worth of their title. I have been using MAS for long and short distance flight and is well worth the money you spend. Their service is great - remember flying with them to India.... service is very nice, food, might need a bit improvement on the taste and choices on menu. Other than that you get ample leg space compared to other airlines. Once i have travelled on their Business class and it was excellent compared US airways and JetAirways.
Well, advice to passengers who might want to use this airlines: sign up as a MAS offer membership (its free). with this you would be entitled to their offers which are regularly updated on every weekends. Compare this airline in every aspect and you will never go wrong.
Well at times, you might think the price is high.... Yes, if...

Advantages: Public transport available to/from city centre Disadvantages: Lack of comfort, confusing, should be an Olympic walking event venue
...This relates to a departure from Terminal 2B on 17th Nov 2008.
This is a dreadful place to spend any time at all in.
You gain access to an area with a reasonably priced cafe/bar, not very comfortable seating. The toilets are fine and free.
The real shocker comes when you have to go through security into the departure area. There is NO SEATING here at all! Despite several aircraft departing from here including many easyJet and British Airways flights, if you want to sit down your only option is on a luggage weighing belt not in use or on the hard tiled floor. At this point there is only one small cafe/bar which is "service at your table", I heard one fellow traveller say that it is very expensive. The only people I saw using it were all standing as there appeared to be no seating.
Once there is a short time left to board your...
