...service issue here and there. Jet Blue is a completely different type of airline, with a completely different philosophy on everything in the airline industry. Background Jet Blue was founded by David Neeleman, the owner of Morris Airlines back in 1993. He decided that he wanted to create an airline that was strong enough to compete with the major airlines, had lower pricing, and offered higher quality customer service and comfort in general. In ... ...with that plan in hand, Jet Blue has grown to become one of the fastest growing airlines in the world. Flights Jet Blue is only five years old, so as such, they haven't had the opportunity to grow quite as large as many of the other airlines. They haven't really partnered with too many other airlines, and as such, they aren't able to offer quite as many flights around the country without flying you way out of your way first. While they are quickly ...

Advantages: New Planes, Seat-Back TV, Good Service Disadvantages: Can be expensive if not booked well in advance
...you have never heard of Jet Blue, don’t be too surprised. They are an American Domestic airline who flies out of their hub at JFK airport in New York. Why we ended up flying with them was more by chance than any degree of forward planning. As always, there’s a story attached to this so I’ll start from the beginning!
We were in New York on a buying trip for my friends business and we needed to source the products we were buying and then fly to the ... ...news about an airline called Jet Blue introducing a new route or something. A quick search on the internet found their website (www.jetblue.com).
Expecting to find the American version of EasyJet we were a little confused by the concept. Here was an airline which flew from decent airports to a huge range of destinations, for a low cost price. In fact they are so big, they have their own terminal at JFK. The company has only been in business for ...

Advantages: Amazing prices, Fast & Efficient, A pleasure to fly! Disadvantages: Tacky TV (a pro in my book!), limited (but growing) routes
...advice would be to fly Jet Blue!
Not exactly a house-hold name in the UK, JetBlue is a rising star in the USA (and in my opinion, they deserve to go stratospheric!)
They're a Budget Airline, operating a growing number of routes across continental US. I've flown with them six times (from NYC to Denver and back (twice), and from NYC to Buffalo & back) On every occasion, the planes departed promptly and four out of the six times, I had landed, collected ... ...scheduled landing time.
Meal aren't served on board (but really, who wants to pay extra for tasteless airline mush?!), instead you're served drinks and snacks (potato chips, cookies, chocolate, there's a large selection to choose from) and there's no limit to how much you can eat. In fact, JetBlue actually encourages you to ask for seconds.
My favourite part about flying JetBlue though, has got to be the 24 channels of direct TV. On the back of ...

Advantages: Decent customer service Disadvantages: cramped seating
...This is going to be an interesting review, because I actually do like Southwest Airlines as an airline, but I still don't consider it to be good. I have flown on so many different airlines and unfortunately even with how disappointed I am with Southwest, it is far better than many of it's United States competitors. This of course, is just a sad statement for the overall quality of airlines within the United States.
I have used Southwest, probably 4-5 times in the last 4-5 years, having a wide variety of flights options, from short to fairly long. I normally fly through Southwest when I travel from Florida to California or Seattle. I have found that their rates are substantially cheaper for those flights than most of the other major airlines. However, in recent times, I have found that JetBlue has become a favorite for flying...

Advantages: Humor used througout the flight Disadvantages: More flights to more destinations would be nice
...Frontier Airlines has been a recent choice airline for myself and my wife, whenever we fly into Denver to see her relatives, and when we go to Alaska from areas other than Detroit, as Detroit has no flights using Frontier. We have flown Frontier a total of probably 3-4 times, so we've gotten a pretty good opportunity to get to know the airline and see what they are like overall.
Customer Service
I have found that Frontier, has some of the best customer service. I would say that their customer service is second to maybe only JetBlue Airways, but they are definitely at the top of the list. Their employees are extremely knowledgeable, not just of their job, but of the airport they work in, and of the city that they are in. I have had two nights with them, which I had cancelled due to weather and they have helped me to find a place...

Advantages: beauty, untouched feel, diversity Disadvantages: Can be pretty hot, need to go for a few days really
...I spent only around 3 days in the Puerto Ayacucho area. I took a number of trips with friends into the amazon area. I have to say it is stunning. It seems so untouched and diverse. Never does the same tree seem to be sitting next another of its kind. Whare they have fallen, they remain and rot.
It's also seriously hot and humid. If you can't deal with that to some extent, forget it. You will be wet within about 5 minutes.
The insect population is also a sight to behold. From ice-blue butterflies to the jet black wasps and jumping fire-ants, you'll never be bored!
We also hired a light aircraft (with pilot) and flew over much of the rainforest cover in the area. It's so enormous! We flew towards, and around, a tepui. This is a giant rock that is abou 100 across and 1 km high that rises out of the rainforest floor. It has...
