Advantages: Great track Disadvantages: Tight and twisty
...Monaco is a great track, don't let the sceptics fool you, it may have its problems but it is so steeped in tradition that to remove it from the F1 calendar would be criminal.
Monaco is like any other Formula One circuit, it is what is known as a street circuit. A street circuit is one that is a temporary, it isn't there all year round, it is set up when the race comes around every year and is mostly run on real roads. Even as street circuits go Monaco is special.
Formula one has been at Monte Carlo for as long as F1 goes back, it is the race all drivers want to win, its steeped in fame and celebreties flock every year to see the race, it is the jewel in the crown of F1.
The track itself is tight, narrow and twisty. It may not offer many opportunities to overtake, but it always produces a good race.
Just watch this years race, and you...

Advantages: Wonderful place to relax Disadvantages: None
...The botanic gardens with its greenhouse (also known as the winter
palace) is a short distance from the University of Glasgow and a
favourite spot for a relaxing student. I remember going there to clear
my head and fill my lungs with fresh air while feasting the eyes on
formal bedding plants and wilder areas. The winter palace itself has
to be the jewel in the crown though; this enormous expanse of glass
housing tropical plants and statuary. Quite an attractive prospect
on a grey winter's day to be in subtropical conditions sharing your
surroundings with palms and other exotic plants in a cathedral of glass. All I can say is go there and find out!...

...i love cologne. it is quite simply a beautiful, beautiful town. it is the jewel in the crown of former western germany and deservedly so. the main attraction is obviously the cathedral (Dom) and this towers above the city with an imposing gothic dominance. you are mneant to be able to see it from just about any where in the town and you can. it is omnipresent and omnipotent. the square in front of it (Domplatz)is a surprisingly peaceful place, and you get a great view of the Dom from it. down by the river (Rhein) there is a lovely walk which takes you thru all the only part of the town where there are some fantastic pubs and bars (the Biermuseum being of particular note). this is a great place to visit. the beer (koelsch) is fantastic and there is a definite sense of youthful vibrance connected with history and tradition....

Advantages: Impressive! Interesting tour too Disadvantages: Very busy at weekends. A tad expensive at just under £10
...The Tower of London, situated on the Thames is a large and impressive fortress that has a great deal of history behind it. I would recommend it to anyone. The crownjewels are here, and they're very impressive! I went there on a weekend. It was very busy. I took the guided tour option (included in the price) and was guided by a yeomen warden in traditional dress. The tour was very interesting. The guide made it humorous and gruesome at times. To think that criminals were often killed at the tower, then their severed heads were on display at Tower Bridge - just a few hundred metres away! The tour builds up to a grand finale - the crownjewels. I had to wait about 45 minutes to an hour to see them, but it was worth it! This is a great day out - take your kids. Nearest tube Tower Hill....

...In summer the Tower of London can be on of the most crowded spots in London,so get there early to avoid the queues inside and to save waiting in line outside. You can buy your tickets in advance from any underground station.
The Tower is chiefly famous for two reasons ~ it has a long history and it is the repository of the British CrownJewels. In fact only seven famous heads have been parted from their bodies in the castle confines.
Although over 400 people were executed in the public arena of Tower Hill just outside the Tower.Henry VIII`s second and fifth wives, Anne Boleyn and Caatherine Howard were executed inside the Tower, while Sir Thomas More and Sir Walter Ralegh were imprisoned in the Tower.
Prisoners were brought in and out of the Tower by boat through the Traitor`s Gate, still visible from the Embankment. The Tower of London...

Advantages: Cheap, value for money, friendly Disadvantages: Still rebuilding after the war
...Sarajevo...Jewel in the Balkan Crown...location of the 1984 Winter Olympics....place where thousands of Bosniaks were killed 1994. I worked in Bosnia Herzegovina for 12 months in 1998 as part of the Police Peace Keeping Force and lived in Sarajevo for the whole time. Although ravaged by war, the city is still a beautiful place. The people, although poor and still coming to terms with rebuilding the city, are excellent. A short 15 minute drive out of the city and you find yourself in the mountains of Igman and Jahorina. During the winter the skiing is excellent and really cheap. 2 weeks in a lodge on the mountain next to the ski resort is around £200 ...try and get that in Austria !!!! Food is cheap and plentiful..mexican, chinese, indian and italian restaraunts can be found all over the city. Cinemas, clubs and two Irish Bars help you...

This is the first time I have done a review for a music album, so it is rather scary. I have come to realise that I have a lot to say actually.
