When dining out the new craze is all you can eat buffets and i have to say what a great idea. If your like me i tend to go to a restaurant and order what i know and never try anything new at least with this you can try different dishes discarding the ones you dont like.

Jimmy chungs is a chinese buffet restaurant and at present only in Scotland as far as i know but there are other named chains around the uk that i am sure are pretty much the same. The restaurant i am reviewing is in Dundee, Scotland

RESTAURANT

A clean well laid out restaurant offering Chinese food buffet style. Holds about 300 people nicely decorated and in main street of Dundee. The staff are very polite and at your beck and call I've never seen such good quick service. Restaurant has a licensed bar offering all types of drinks and when entering you are taken to a table and offered a drink then its self service for the buffet food all you can eat!!

FOOD

Buffet style foods are on hot plates in different sections and you can have as much or as little as you like and you just keep going back for more!!!

Starters - A various selection of starters are available including

Chicken satay, won tons, spare ribs, soup, prawn crackers, sweet and sour sauce, prawn toast, satay sauce to name a few

Main Courses - Around 20 main meal dishes are available for lunch and 40 selections for dinner these include

Sweet and sour chicken, chicken in black bean sauce, kung po, curry, singapore noodles, egg foo yung, beef satay, pork balls, egg fried rice, chinese vegetables, thai chicken, beef and tomato, lemon chicken,

Desserts - A smaller selection of desserts are available but by that time your lucky if you have any room!!

ice cream machine, mango/cocnut desserts, jelly, banana fritters, gateaux and fruit

Also there is a goodselection of different salad items and sauces
