Gold Reef City
Advantages: Location, Easy Access, Inexpensive, Historic Disadvantages: Limited availability of rides and attractions to children under 5

Gold Reef City even has a victorian hotel, dating back from years gone by. The theme park is open on Tuesdays to Sundays, right throughout the year, except for holidays such as Christmas. Good value, good fun and variety are only part of the story behind Gold Reef City's success. Friendly faces, helpful guides and notices, and ample opportunity for rest and refreshment, keep us going back to it.

Must see place for all children
Advantages: Bunnys!!!! Disadvantages: Having to leave
...There are many types of bunny parks, these are like the parks in England but they breed rabbits, birds and sometimes have other types of animals.
The one that i visited alot when in a town on the outskirts of Johannesburg called Boxburgs. The main feature of this park was a historical train. There must of been 1000s of bunnys there and you can just see how much children love them with the smiles on there faces.
This is a great place for taking ... ...will know what you are talking about it you ask where the bbq stands are
free entry sometimes donations asked to keep the park running.
normally 9-6 everyday and a market on the sunday
i only say poor transport as there public transport is alot different in South africa, not many busses all shared cab's ...

Advantages: Close up to lions Disadvantages: bad is car has no a/c
...touching distance of a huge lion or cubs if you dare but i think the 100 of signs telling you it is bad idea puts people off. You can ger amazing pictures and it doesnt look like the lions are in a incloser. The cubs section is worth a visit with you being able to stroke them. The food is great, the traditional dancers in the eatting area are well worth the wait. overall a really good day out well worth the money.
This is charged on the size of the ... ...gladly walk near the car for great photos if you arnt to scared. Everytime i i have visited south africa i have also visited the lion park as you are amazed everytime, so much better than going to a zoo.
